the joy of my job is fostering an environment for talented, skilled, creative people (specifically lisa, matt, shruti and katherine) to turn a brainstorm–‘this project should be pretty easy and straightforward’ she said at lunch–into a final piece that exceeds my wildest dreams. while I desire many of the pretty things in our jewelry lookbook (I’m looking at you single stone and tenthousandthings) the memory of a team flexing their muscles to bring an idea to fruition will live on in my heart long after any desire. of course the brainstorm arose because of a certain jewelry buyer–you might already know susie–who is the reason we have cases full of beautiful and crafted pieces that speak to her and you. whether you enjoy the beautiful lookbook or the pieces themselves (or maybe both) we thank you for joining us on this phase of scarpa’s journey.
