lola ehrlich, owner and designer of LOLA HATS, simultaneously took hat making classes at the fashion institute of technology in new york while being the editor-in-cheif of vogue knitting. her admiration for textiles, colors, and slow fashion cultivated into her first shop in the east village in 1989 and has now moved to a wonderful studio in bushwick, brooklyn. all lola hats are handmade by fifteen artisans from across the globe that specialize in the skills needed to make each piece. the result is a unique piece that reflects the personality of its maker.
