About The Role
Scarpa is looking for a Creative Operations Associate to manage and continually improve our website and work with the Director of Marketing to execute strategies that will drive sales across channels. This is a great role for someone who is eager to learn the ins and outs of marketing all the while pushing the boundaries and shaping important initiatives for the organization.
:: Oversee the merchandising cycle & strategy of thinkscarpa.com; manage the product catalog, build collections and regularly update content and product information in Shopify to provide the best online shopping experience.
:: Ensure accuracy of online product catalog and functionality of website as it impacts the user experience.
:: Create and manage customer segments based on data-driven strategies in partnership with the Director of Marketing.
:: Design, load and schedule marketing emails to customer segments in Mailchimp.
:: Maintain and drive customer facing (external) communications such as support chat, Instagram messenger, Google reviews, etc.
:: Embrace Scarpa’s customer service approach and core values in all direct customer communications.
:: Publish content on Instagram and Facebook; partner with the Director of Marketing to build and maintain a robust social media strategy.
:: Create print and in-store collateral for client communication.
:: Assist with execution of in-store events.
:: Manage Google products and store profile.
:: Sits on the marketing team, reports to Director of Marketing.
Qualifications & Experience
:: 2+ years experience working in a marketing, e-commerce or operational role with fashion, retail, beauty and/or wellness experience preferred; start-up experience is a plus.
:: Candidate has experience managing a Shopify website and online inventory in a high end retail business model.
:: Graphic design experience required; preferably across digital and print with a broad knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop.
:: Thrives in a highly collaborative, fast paced work environment and is able to establish priorities and be flexible.
:: Knowledge of MailChimp and Shopify is a big plus.
