About The Role
Scarpa is looking for a full-time Graphic Designer and Marketing Assistant to design a wide variety of visual assets using Adobe Photoshop for use across email, social media, and web. The ideal candidate will also build and schedule emails using Klaviyo and build out website content using Shopify’s site builder. We are happy to help teach both Klaviyo and Shopify. Additionally, this role will distribute social media content using planoly and/or other social media scheduling tools.
- Work closely with the Director of Marketing and creative team to create marketing emails and social media content using Adobe Photoshop.
- Design page layouts and landing pages for Scarpa’s shopify site.
- Draft captions, tag products, and mention relevant accounts in instagram posts.
- Assist with other marketing tasks as-needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with photoshop and a strong understanding of graphic design principles.
- Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, and Planoly or other social scheduling tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.
- Technical aptitude and a willingness to learn new tools and processes.
- Ability to work on-site in Charlottesville, VA preferred. If you will not be working at the Charlottesville, VA office, demonstrated ability to work in a remote environment required.
